Massari, Ryker & Brazen Hussy at Ritual 2 for Life Network

On Monday I shot Massari for an episode of a Life Network reality show about a celebrity hairstylist named Ryker. Clothing by Brazen Hussy, makeup by Sherylyn, shot at Ritual 2 salon in Toronto.

I'm finally going through the film today so I'll be posting a few more pictures from the shoot in the week ahead. I know I keep saying that -- I owe you guys Sook-Yin Lee pics, Regent Park pics.... I'm busy!

Sook-Yin Lee in Peace magazine

I didn't even realize this was on the stands already but you can see yours truly's picture of former Much Music VJ, current DNTO host and actress Sook-Yin Lee in the current issue of Peace magazine. The colour's pretty wonky on this scan, and hopefully it's not that way in the mag. Now that it's on newsstands I'll be putting a few of the pics from the shoot up here in the next day or two.

CNE Pictures

I went to the Ex on Wednesday night but I actually went back yesterday for a couple hours to grab a few pictures. I really wanted pictures that felt kind of vintage and low-life, like I remember the CNE from when I was a kid. There wasn't a leather vest or fringe purse in sight though. I basically wandered around for an hour trying to find pictures that weren't cliches. It was hard. I think I like to photograph things like this mostly to compare what I get to what gets published in the papers.
